First and foremost, Talecris is committed to the patient communities who rely on our products. Globally, Talecris works closely with the Alpha-1 International Registry (AIR), the Alpha-1 International Network, and the World Federation of Hemophilia, to support programs and Centers of Excellence that increase awareness and provide screening and diagnosis.
We also fund grant programs, research, and continuing education programs for healthcare professionals and scientists to further advance the standards of care for patients. Our Talecris New Trials Support program alone pledges $1 million annually to fund basic science and clinical research projects in various fields.
